Jesse Baker is a fifth generation Paso Robles resident. Beginning his wine endeavor in 2017, working with and learning from Tyler Russell of Nelle|Cordant winery, he soon realized his passion for winemaking and began investing in fruit to start his own brand. He chose to name it Slayton to honor his family and deep roots in Paso Robles. Jesse is currently the Cellar Master at Alta Colina winery in Adelaida.
